    Back in the 60's-70's, I used to buy a candy very similar to these. About 9 yrs ago, I came accross them at Knotts Berry Farm, labeled as Pepermint Waffers. I made it point to visit Knotts every year and buy a large batch. But it's been about 5 yrs since they no longer carry them. Then, while I was vacationing in WY, I saw them in a little shop, sold by "Jelly Belly." What a pleasant surprise! So glad they're not extinct!
