My husband has two loves...me and pear jelly belly beans. It's his most favorite candy and he is always sure to get them on special occasions. A very origional flavor with enough tang and sweetness of a delicious pear, but keeping with the delicate nature of the fruit taste. Not too overpowering but just right.

For my daughter's wedding, these pear jellybellies fit the bill: they were close to the right color green, and the groom counts them among his favorites. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I liked them a lot too! Just one note: When they were shipped, they arrived just poured into a cardboard box. I'm sure it was sanitary and all that, but to an American raised in the age of plastic, it was weird not having them in a plastic bag inside the box.

The juicy pear Jelly Bellies are favors for the guests and will be presented in little galvanized buckets. We refer to these as "wedding pails". The center pieces will also be large "wedding pails" filled with fresh hydraengas and white roses. The color of juicy pear is subtle and looks great wrapped in tulle,tied with an organza bow with silk hydraengas as accents. Casual yet sofisticated!
