I have bought two of these machines, from a retail store, for my home office. After a few months the crank assembly falls apart and the crank falls off, rendering the otherwise cute toy useless. I have had the same problem with both. The crank assembly could be sturdier. I like your jelly beans, however I now place them in a bowl.

This is a great little dispenser for our 6 and 7 year old boys. It is adorable as a kitchen decoration and gives out just enough of a sweet treat (3 to 4 jellybeans) to satisfy a craving. It would also be good to keep on your desk at the office to collect pocket change & bulk up a vacation fund or college fund.

The first one that I bought came with a paint defect. I contacted Jelly Belly right away and they replaced it immediately.[...]I like the machine, it is fun to have a work. However, the Jelly Belly's seem to get stuck a lot and you have to shake the machine.

I keep this on my desk at work. Nice to have a tasty treat handy. Looks great at my desk and is a great conversation piece. I think it holds a reasonable amount of jelly beans. I am a candy love and I think that something bigger would be too much. I took out the coin mechanism which was very difficult to open. It took 2 people and a screw driver pry the piece apart so I could disable it. My biggest dislike with this product is that jelly beans can get stuck in the machine and it can be hard to turn the knob. At times the jelly beans come out broken or smashed and leave a small mess.

Sometimes the jelly beans come out crushed...but still taste great! We use the product(s) as a treat (or reward)...if our little boy uses the potty he gets a jelly belly out of the jelly belly machine. I like that the machine is metal and glass and not plastic. We love it.

We got one of these for Christmas while the grandkids were visiting. They enjoyed it so much, we bought them one and had it shipped direct. They love it!

The only problem I have had is sometimes the beans get caught in the dispenser, and the combination of flavors smushed together really don't mix well.
